Love the knife, but how do I sharpen the "appleseed" grind,which I take it to be the front part of the tanto as that appears to be some type of convex grind.Thanks.
 
for the convex portions, yes.

I use everything from 80 to 1500 grit dry wood paper(cheapest stuff when you buy single sheets) on my convex edges. Can get a nice edge going.

My ss pe 'fly has a convex and I haven't touched the edge since july 30th or 31st. Sees daily abuse(24/7 neck carry). Have a couple spots on it that could get touched up, take me 5min.
 
you don't take enough mat'l off the blade to notice for a LONG time.

have a look at some old convex knives. I've seen SAK blades that were convex sharpened for 30-40yrs before being replaced by a new one.
