Greetings All,

After seeing a recent thread showing one of Bob Lum's daggers, I was inspired to try my hand at one. I had some 1" wide W-2 so I went with it to a mirror finish. The built up tip on my version is more convex than Mr. Lum's and I went with corby bolts and a lanyard tube. All comments welcome.

9" OAL
4 1/2" BL
.250" W-2 stock
Sambar Stag
Tapered tang with red liners

I find the bolster to be a little heavy looking. Personally, I think it would jive more with me if it were half the length. I'd also like to see the hollow grind come a little further up toward the point
I think you captured the Lum spirit, without copying it directly and that's pretty cool

Thanks for the input Lorien - I agree, the bolsters do look a tech heavy. :)

Tim, another example of your impeccable work. I agree with Lorien, I think I would like a smaller and perhaps sightly thinner bolster.

Thanks Paul - then all three of us agree! Keep your eyes peeled buddy. :)
