LUM questions for Sal

I have a LUM 46P plain edge Ti handle , and was wondering about the liner lock . The liner lock goes all the way across to the other side when locked open .I thought , and most of my other quality liners do this , that the linner was supposed to line up with the middle of the blade . which is right , and what can I do about this .

p.s. the LUM has #521 on it .

Hi Edd. If there is no vertical play, I wouldn't concern myself. The adjusting capability of a linerlock is to prevent vertical play.
