How is the lock-up on it? Has anyone had trouble with it? The reason I ask is I seem to recall someone getting one that had a lock-up problem. Other than that, I haven't heard ANYTHING regarding its lock-up that I remember.

After my banter in the "What happened to the...." thread, and looking around at the Lum tantos, I think I got bit. Sooooo.... I'm investigating. And I have no particular desire to wait for the fixed blade or the G10 folder if the lock-up on the titanium folder is OK.

I handled a Ti Lum Tanto last night, and it's lockup was fine. A really nice piece, although I find plain metal handled knives boring. However, if I recall correctly the liner lock bar was much thinner than the one on my Starmate. If the G-10 version is going to have the same lockwork as the Starmate, I would say wait for it. Even though I had to send my Starmate in for adjustment (due to my own stupidity in not checking it out properly before buying,) it is now one of the most solid folders in my collection. That stainless locking bar, coupled with the concave tang on the blade is the best liner lock system that I have seen.

My lockup is less than rugged, but I've been too lazy to send it in. It's not a problem for most of what I do, but I would probably hesitate before driving it tip first into anything heavy.
