Since you have one in VG-10 then they aren't all ATS-55. Seriously, I assume you are talking about the folder - as far as I know the early ones were ATS-55 which was later replaced by VG-10. I don't think any other steels were used.

Thanks, David. Only reason I asked was that I have not seen any for sale ,even on ebay, with VG10 blade.:thumbup:
 
They made that Lum C-46 Tanto folder mostly in ATS-55. It was only in the very final year of production that they made them in VG-10. I was told that by a guy who works at SFO. I usually see about 3 to 4 of the VG-10 models of the C-46 sold throughout the entire year on Ebay. I would say the VG-10 is somewhat collectible by virtue of the fact that there arent' that many of them.

But that knife is super in my book no matter which steel variety you have it in. ;)
