hello. i am very new to watches but i have become increasingly interested in them in the last little while. with christmas coming up im thinking about asking for a watch. i am asking for your guidence in the watch world. one that has caught my eye is the luminox captain field watch. does anyone have experience with one? (this one inperticular)http://www.luminoxshop.com/luminoxfield1563.html
i would love to hear of any other watches you guys would recommend for me. some of my preferences are:
-metal band
-under $200 but under 150 would be better
-something i could wear on most occasions. (school, outings)
-not a huge face as im not a big person

thanks a bunch everyone

I have one of those with a black face and I replaced the leather band with a zulu type. Metal bands yank my wrist hairs out. I absolutely love the watch and it's about 8 years old now and on it's second battery.

I have a few watches. I don't like big watches because I am small too, but give one a try. I have a Bulova marine Star and a Citizen EcoDrive. They are big but they feel good. When I wear my Luminox I check it to see if I lost it because I can't tell I'm wearing it. My Luminox rocks though. I love it. Very tough. Wear my Citizens all the time, my Bulova certain times and my Luminox whenever.

i would get a seiko monster, i dont have a luminox myself but several buds do and some have had good luck, some not so good.

for less than $200 i dont think ya can beat a seiko diver like the monster.
