Luminox LOST my watch.....

Boy could I see this coming!
Every step of their customer service has sent up red flags (you can see my previous thread) and now this is the topper!

I sent my watch in for repair.
They acknowledged it's arrival, quoted me a price, and said they'd send it back.

Well it's been over a month and no sign of it.
Luminox only says that its shipped but can't give me any details.
The same person (Debbie) has told me twice that she's running a trace on it but she never gets me the results.

I am NEVER dealing with Luminox again!

Sorry to hear about this but be patient as what I know about mail that has been send insured/registered it needs not to have arrived at the addressed person for 1 month before a trace can even be started.

When the trace is started it normally is done by the postal services and that can take a lot of time (my experience).

See the bright side of it if the watch is lost Luminox should get the insured value paid so they should be able to send you a brand new watch perhaps even a more expensive model for all the troubles you went through.

Sorry about the problems, but there is hope. Once Luminox is in receipt of your watch, they are responsible for it. And when returning it to you, they should insure it for the full value. If it is truly lost, you should get a new watch.

If they sent it via UPS, they investigate for eight days, then will pay the shipper if it can't be found. USPS will take a bit longer, depending on the method of shipping they chose.

If they shipped it and it did not arrive to you, the blame cannot be Luminox's; it would be the shipping company. In other words, let Luminox manage dealing with the shipping company and give them the opportunity to either get your watch to you or replace it. Accidents happen. It's how they're handled that shows their level of customer service.

Remember, if it is truly lost in shipment, Luminox is not to blame. But they can rectify the situation for you.
