We had a really nice view of the eclipse tonight, so I thought I'd share a couple pics. The first one is right at the peak, then another about 15 minutes later. Hope you enjoy 'em. :D

Great pics!

Only a little shadow left, and the coyotes are yelping like crazy as the moon gets brighter again

My camera sucks so I didn't even attempt to get any shots. I appreciated the heads up from the members here or my family and I would have missed. Very cool.

It cleared up just in time... Just wish I could find the plate that attaches my camera to the tripod. Had to shoot the camera with a telephoto lens freehand... Not very easy to keep the shakes out while the shutter is open, but I caught this semi-decent shot...

Awesome pics. it was clear down here right till about 10:05 then cloads covered it all. got to see it fully eclipsed though.

BTW... ferrethawk, NICE freakin' shots... love how red it was for ya! Thanks for sharing, and you too, Li'l Foo! :D:thumbup:

I had a glimpse of it for about 30 seconds, in between the 5 inches of snow that dumped on us. Great pics.

Nice pics guys, thanks for sharing! I missed it because I was too busy watching Flogging Molly! ;)

Thanks for the pictures! I went outside while at work to see it...but all I saw was snow! :D

Great pics! Pays to have decent optics. I stood outside and watched but the pics actually show a better detailed image of the event.

It was cool-looking up here in Philly. I looked at it with my binocs (Minolta 7x50), but don't have a telephoto lens so I got no pics.
