Nice one!! A friend of mine just got a D300 and is going to try his luck with submitting his photos for some commercial opportunities.

I just bought a D40 about a month ago. I love it, but after handling it, the D300 fells like a monster! :D Fantastic LCD on the back, though. :thumbup:
 
I have the same lens on my D300 that you are showing in that picture of yours and I can't for the life of me get it to autofocus. :mad:

I got it today at the local camera shop that I have bugged with questions for about 12 years and never bought much there so I decided to support them and buy it from there.

I have a Nikon F5 film camera and this has a similar feel but is a lot lighter:thumbup:
