There has to be some lurkers out there who have been checking in without posting, lets hear from you. Do you currently own any Busse Knives or are you just contemplating getting one(or more :D)?

Need help deciding what to buy? Let us Help, we're really good at spending other peoples money. ;)

So join the Madness, addiction or choose your own affliction, but lets hear about it. :D ;)

I'm a lurker I guess. I do own several Busse knives but I mainly read the forums and try to learn. I have made many new friends here and a chance to meet several at the blade show.

V-man,
Good to see you posting. I guess I am primarily a lurker also, I check the forums several times a day but usually just to read and try to learn.;) :D I generally read a lot more than I post. ;)

I too, read this forum on a daily basis...primarily to learn more about what is reputed to be the most rugged line of outdoor knives available. Hopefully the reputation is well deserved as my first Busse, a combat grade Steel Heart E, is on its way to me as we speak. As soon as it arrives, I'll be taking my new SH-E with me on a week-long backpacking trip into the Sierra National Forest. I will post about the knife's performance after the trip.

Eric,

You've brought me out of the closet! I tend to lurk unless I think I have something to add that hasn't already been said. My first Busse was a Basic 9 when they first came out and I've added a few since. I'll try and speak up a bit more now and then. Cheers! -Alan

Good to see you guys posting. I have to say we are generally a friendly bunch here on the Busse Forum so go ahead and speak up. If anyone is going to sound bad I'm sure it will be me. ;)
I have a way of doing that. :D :D

Hello Eric and all! I have posted a bit before, but I guess I lurk too. Loce the pics, love the designs. i am not really buying knives right now, as any free $ I have is going to knife making supplies (budding hobby maker!)

But, what honest knife knut could post at bladeforums and not at least LURK on the Busse forum! Great stuff guys! Awesome contests too :D

Busted!!! I'm another lurker..!!

I don't own any Busse knives, but have just ordered a SHE and an Assault Shaker. I thought I might as well get the 2nd (inevitable) purchase out of the way. As I mentioned on the Bussecombat forum, these knives will be sight-unseen as they are impossible to view in NZ. I hope (as does my bank manager!!) that you guys are even half right in the kudos you give these knives. Coz if you are they will be well worth the $$$.

The New Zealand wilderness will provide the setting for testing these knives when they eventually arrive. I will be sure to let you know how they cope! I can almost sense the native trees (windfall of course)backing away in fear...the Busse blades are coming!!!

Thanks for all the info and advice you have given me without knowing it..

Cho.

Chomo,
Not to worry, I have bought all my Busse Knives sight unseen, all 13 of them. :D:D I have NEVER been disappointed, as I'm sure you won't.

Look out trees of New Zealand, you are in for a big surprise ;)

BTW, nice choices for your first 2, I carry my Assault Shaker everyday and love it and the SHE is a great Blade.

I'm a lurker too. I currently own an LMS, AS, PH and a Basic #9.
I've posted a few times but only have access at work and have to keep my personal posts down to a minimum. A big "Thank You!" to all you regular posters who share your knowledge with the forum.
Switching back to lurk mode.......~Drew

Busted,

I've been luking around here. I have a Badger Attack and am considering getting a Natural Outlaw. I'd like just a little bit more knife.
I currently own about 10 auto's, and three fixed blades.
Though my Sebenza and BA are my favorites.

I too am a long-time lurker, but felt that was appropriate since my only exposure to Busse hardware was limited to drooling on the keyboard while scoping out the pics on their web site. Well, today that all changed with the arrival of my SH E (a birthday present from my wife). Hoo-boy!

I have to believe everyone's reaction when they open their first Busse shipping box is the same - utter orgiastic incredulus awe. I had NO IDEA this knife was going to be this...robust. After an entire evening of caressing and fondling (the knife! That other can wait until later...), I am still grinning like a demented fool.

So, thanks to Jerry Busse, I am now officially outed. It's been 1 day, since I've lurked without posting. One day at a time...

Sierra,
Welcome to the Wonderful World of Busse :D :D. It is a great feeling isn't it? ;) Great Choice for your first Busse, which one is next? :D

Congrats....BTW, where in MN are you from? Email me offline if you would like.

No dis-respect to the "BladeForums" intended but I can not believe the selection of HIGH END BUSSE KNIVES on the "other forums". I found some listed under: "KnifeForums.Com Discussion Forums » Trade Forums » Dealer's Promotion and Sales". I think that the new Tommy Hawk Man must have sold out his Entire Museum to this guy. After I saw the Prototype "Lean Mean" for sale...............I must have blacked out. The last thing I remember is checking available credit on the Visa........... I hope that I didn't have too much available. Nice Stuff, hope you make it in time to get a good look
