Making a sheath, I'll let you guys/gals figure out what it will be for ;)

And noticed that the impression on the inside of the leather made for
an interesting look, a long nosed fellow staring back at me :)

From forming tightly around the knife, the image above was made,

That's pretty close there Ramm :)
it's an impression of a butterfly knife
a semi custom from Benchmade a 31 with
carbon fiber inlays, very sleek knife!

and yeah Esav, he just might be ;)

Gary, you really need to get out of the shop for awhile. Next thing you're gonna see the virgin Mary from a Sebenza!

Ramm, that made me laugh, good one and Erik, you're probably right!
I just got back from a 3 week trip around the world, so just getting back
into work that pays for my toys, got my eye on a new camera body
yiikeess that is $$ many cows will need to sacrifice themselves so I can
have my toys ;)

Gary I swear you fit them damn sheaths so tight, if I didn't know better I would swear you vacuum them down some way! I admire your work and have got a ways to go yet to emulate your sheaths!

thanks they do fit snug for sure, don't want the knife come falling out.

Here's some completed shots of this sheath, a custom benchmade 31 with carbon fiber inserts;

for this knife, the fellow wanted to keep the clip that it came with, so I had to make a channel to accept the clip
means you have to insert the knife the same way, could have formed the top section to
allow it that side, but he likes the butterfly embossing and I'd not been able to do both

WOW! Gary your work is superb. The channel for the clip was the way to go. Much cleaner than forming the front around it.
BTW what camera are you looking to get? If you don't mind my asking.
You have great photography skills too.

Thanks, those were quick shots hand held with a Canon 20D and a 17-40L lens
