Sam just sent me this pic and I'm hoping this comes my way or one just like it with a Black Micarta handle :)

His words :

A maximus bowie
But with my special setup "hybrid mutan subhilt" hehehe

The blade is forged in L6 steel
The handle is in desert iron wood

The finishes are sandblasted, parkisered and stonwacher

Impatient to have your opinion

It is 23 cm long and 5 mm thick

.....

My words

I love it

There is a special reason

Not only is the design wicked I like the two finger sub

And ..... this is a big one

One of my new pups is named MAXIMUS

this is Maximus at 13 months ......and we have just begun getting him hard

So if your looking at this Sam send my dog his knife it's shaped like his head

this knife belongs in a movie

It does look like Maximus' head! :D The handle looks like it will make for some snappy cutting. Wondering if that's your drawing on yellow paper, if so then Sam L. did a really accurate job, it's hard to make a knife that's almost exactly like a schematic.

Both Maximus the knife and Maximus the dog are ripped...wouldn't want to meet either in a dark alley LOL

I've always had an affinity for sub hilts... This one seems to have had a drop or two of "wicked" forged in. I love it!!!

Joe will make one..... ;)

What a fantastic knife!!!! I think I may have an early Proto of that integral style....Sam 'forgot' the subhilt on mine! :D

Another amazing piece from Sam and L6 is hard to beat...what a beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That pup sure has matured, getting gunz on him like ol' Dad!!!! ;)

Thx Dudley

Sams promised me one with a black micarta handle which as you know is my thing

Woods for fine furniture :)

The pups are getting big and real strong

Wow, that's exactly what my day needed, thank you. :)

Please forgive me....I love this picture. :)

The old school pits are wonderful animals that is for sure

Amazingly bright and contrary to what people say these have been very trainable

I guess coming from the Dogo Argentinos anything would be easy :)

They are great in the woods and just love knocking round with the whole family

The female is sweet and a very good Hunter .... a lot of terrier in her

The male is the ultimate knock around dog

Easy and friendly and will try anything

This is him at under a year playing on a puppy sleeve
