Hey Everybody out there, this is an outfit that might allow you to purchase a sword that is the same quality as a Del Tin without the Del Tin price or the Del Tin wait. Their site is www.lutel.cz and this is the reply I got back from an email that I sent them. Bare in mind that I am not making a recommendation here because I have never handled one of their products but on paper they seem to be the equivalent of a Del Tin and the price is awesome!

1. THE WIIGHT OF SWORDS:

ONE HANDED - 1,45 kg
BASTARD SWORD - 1,50 kg
RAPIER - 1,20 -1,50 kg

2-3. OUR WEAPONS ARE MADE OF HIGH QUALITY STEEL, THEY´RE WELL-BALLANCED,
USED BY MANY GROUPS OF HISTORICAL FENCING IN EUROPE.
4-6. OUR WEAPONS ARE MADE OF HIGH QUALITY STEEL (TEMPERED - 50

7,8. THE PRICE OF TRANSPORT DEPENDS ON THE QUANTITY. E.G.

(1 US DOLLAR = 35 CZK)

9. WE CAN SEND OUR WEAPONS IMMEDIATELY. - IN 10 DAYS YOU CAN HAVE

Eastern Europe has some very talented weaponsmiths who are able to offer quality work at unbeatable prices, but are fairly unknown.
The Lutel stuff seems to look good, I will probably try them out in the future. Thanks for the link.
Another interesting Czech smith is Pavel Moc, his site at www.swords.cz , enjoy the pics

(the English version is not finished yet).
