Lux Interior RIP

Sad to hear the news that Lux Interior of The Cramps passed away today.

If you ever got the chance to see The Cramps live, it's probably pretty much burned into your cerebral cortex. Hugely influential, I'd wager we never would have had The Gun Club or SCOTS if it weren't for The Cramps.

Sad news indeed, I have many fond memories of swilling beer and partying while the "Date With Elvis" and the "Songs the Lord taught us" albums were spinning on the turntable. The Cramps were one of the first bands that turned me on to the whole world on alternative music. I never went back...RIP Lux..you were one of a kind..
