Luzon closed blade issue

I've got one of the smaller Luzon's and when it's closed the blade wiggles a surprising amount when any pressure is applied to the flipper nub. This leaves the end of the blade just exposed enough to cause issues as if the mechanism that keeps the blade closed isn't doing its job properly. Is anyone aware of a fix for this?

I have one where the tip sticks out enough when its closed to catch a finger on it. these weren't made super well.

agree with Doc sounds like loose pivot or maybe weak detent.

I don't have any problems with either my 4-inch or 6-inch Luzon. If memory serves, there were some Q/C issues with the early ones. Later ones were better made. Mine were from one of the later batches.

But I agree they were an interesting study in what could be done on the cheap utilizing less expensive materials. Mine won't win any beauty awards, but I find them fully functional. Demko's modifications of the standard liner lock are particularly cool.

All that said, I don't have a suggestion other than that of DocJD DocJD
