With UK pen knife.

My UK rides in the bottom of my pocket as a secondary/backup so no need for a pocket clip

This will work especially well for those that carry the LW in your breast pocket

Just figured I'd share:) I didn't think this knife could be improved upon but with my mad scientist skills I made it better :D

Huge improvment (IMO)

The low ride Spyderco wire clip is my favorite clip of all, and I prefer it over any made by any manufacturer.
Wonder why they didn't put this clip on them at the factory

I still have a few of the tempered wire clips like they used to use tucked away. A LW Manix would be a good use for one of them. May have to get one.

I agree ^ the wire clips are my favorite and the low ride ones are the best of the bunch for sure.

I am going to attempt to put the wire manix clip on my military via the lanyard hole which would make it tip up carry also.

Right now is a great time to be in the market for a LW manix

Does Spyderco sell or give out wire clips?

Spyderco sells them as replacements at the Factory Outlet, I would suggest the wire clip from the Sage as it is a darker colour.

That is spot on. Thanks for the tip. I'll definitely order some Monday.

In that last pic the blue almost looks black. I'm sure it's just the lighting. But the more I see of this knife, the more I like it.

Agreed! It gets darker with every pic I see!!

Thanks for the pics! That's a sweet pair:) even though I said I was going to buy one of these I am holding out for the LW native 5 as Funds do not allow me to own both ATM

I did a Military tip up conversion. I didn't go wire clip on that though http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1123113-Tapping-into-G10-and-only-G10-for-screws

I also did a Chokwe wire clip mod, that involved my machine shop. The way that knife is designed made it perfect for a wire clip mod.
