The CQC 7 is nice! :D



Just came in today. Strikes me as a very utilitarian knife. :thumbup:

Much shallower grind than my Gentleman Jim, but easy to control.

I did get a Horseman, but the handle and overall size weren't for me so I let it go yesturday. I would probably like the full size more, but I'm a little leery of the deep finger guard up front. Bummer, b/c the CQC 10 and SpecWar look tempting too!

I think my fav out of the group is the GJ. The handle is just fantastic for me and it's been a great all around carry. :thumbup: Now, to spend some time getting to know the 7!

Nice collection man! I'm also partial to the GJ and I would recommend a Commander in whatever size you prefer.
 
Nice score, I've been wanting to get a 7. The 8 has the best feeling handles of any knife I've owned. Can't recommend it highly enough.
 
Nice collection! Definitely check out the 10, it's a winner. The 7A is on my short list at the moment.

Gotta cool off the buying...don't think I ever went on a spree like this before. There's guns out there that need buying too! Hah!

The 7 seems like a tank! Sanded down the handles on the 7 and Persian, worked on the edge of the 7 and I'm good to go!

I was surprised how much I liked the 10. I gave it to my son beacause of my confidence in it . The commander is a sick design. I have the auto-commander. I called Emerson and asked them about it, they recomended I buy it. Looks like the 7 will be my next.

I love the looks of the 10...that big spear point is a beaut! I'm a little worried that with the deeper choil/guard area of the Horseman not doing it for me, if other models with a similar handle won't be for me. I was looking at pics/videos of the 10 last night and that area seems to be shallower. The SpecWar looks good to me too.
