I suppose it's a sign of the times and 40 years. The six Cold Steel knives I have will last even beyond my grandson's grandchildren. I want to say thanks for having produced hallmark blades for the working folk.
 
Lynn Thompson is a brilliant knife (and other cutting-edge stuff:D) designer and manufacturer. I must have acquired a dozen or more CS knives (original Master Tanto, Master Hunter, SRK, Recons, American Lawman, Red River and a bunch of others I've forgotten) over the decades and they all have performed superbly. I wish him the best and hope he continues to guide CS under the new ownership.
