Very interesting - thanks for posting about the exhibition. Nice knives, carving, scrimshaw etc.
 

I especially like this one. The carved bolster on the bottom one is very nice. But, I'm curious.... are these two sheaths indeed made from whole, uncut pieces of wood perfectly carved out to firmly hold the blade? I don't see any joinery. I'm just going to imagine the fit is as fine as the knives themselves.

THAT is quite a sheath requiring quite a bit of precision chisel/file work.

The scrimshaw and the carved ivory handle one are from Gregory Delaunay.
Don't you have some pictures of Sacha Thiel's knives ? Those shouldn't being missed.
