There's no comparison as far as weight, balance, and I suspect chopping ability of the M-43 to any of the other knives. The M-43 is the heaviest by a good margin, balance is the most foward, and so along with its curved cutting geometry is most likely to outchop any of the others. I say most likely because I have no actual experience in this area.
Not that the others are bad when compared to one another - not including the M-43. The heft of the M-43 would deter me from carrying it on a hiking trip. Also its far foward balance, for me, would not make it good for a defensive knife.
I like the handles on all of them except the Becker Brute, which is too slippery. I know people rough it up or change it out, but I'll probably sell that one someday. The only 2 things I wished were different on the M-43 would be for a slightly longer handle(my glove size is L) and a lanyard hole for more security when chopping.
I like the fact that the M-43 is full tang and pinned. Anyway, it has become my baseline for future Kukuris.
