I never thought I would get one, they never really appealed to me, but I had been lurking the DOTD's for a long time looking for the perfect first khukuri, and when I saw my M-43, i knew it was the one.
I love mine.

I liked mine so much I now have two. My Bura made blade has a thinner spine thickness and is a good bit lighter, plus the handle is a little shorter and drops a bit better than my sher made blade. The Sher is heavier so it gets less carry than the Bura. Besides the Bura made blade is the one that saw me through a lot of rough living so I'm a bit attached to it.
