I just bought a Mossberg 590 slide-action 12gauge......And it has a bayo mount on the bottom of the mag tube, I was talkin to a friend about it and he said that it was for the U.S. Military issue M-9 bayonet......but the lug just looked so damn small.

I didnt see how the bayo would mount on it......but anyways.....Bayo's are not something i know alot about and i would like to know if this is true.

If so......does anyone have an M-9 bayo Brand new with a black handle for sale?

Thanks

try the m-7 we used them in the AF. we never liked the m-9 (everyone I knew, it was heavy and no one liked to carry it), I never carried one personally so I couldnt tell you if it fits, more than likely it probably does.

I have a Buck Bayonet M9 (black handle) brand new (never been used) that I could sell including the sheath. I live in Canada though.... The tag price when I bought it was 299$ CDN, paid 230 + taxes. I would sell it for 150$ US.

I don't know if either the M7 or M9 will fit your shotgun but if one will, the other will also. I would not carry the M9. I bought a surplus M7 and carried a Mad Dog ATAK Hunter. Both these tools weighed about what the M9 did on its own.

The M9 will fit without any problems so will the M7. I have had the 590 and I have a M9 it fit just like it was suppose to.
