Begg Knives has cemented a deal with the Military.

All that can be said at this time is that a model named the M.I.G.1 will be picked up by the military in large quantities. M.I.G.1=Military Issue Glimpse 1. "They" are VERY pleased with all aspects of this knife and can't wait to have them. We had our final meeting, signed all the disclosures, and gave a facility tour (who knew our shop was a "facility"??).
We expect these to be rolling out of the shop in less than four weeks.....so things are gonna be hopping around here!! We are pleased and honored to be outfitting our US military with some fine hardware!!!

After some negotiating we were granted permission to retail a civilian version as well....they will have different markings, but corresponding serial numbers. We hope to have some ready for Blade.......cross your fingers!

I've always felt the Glimpse was the perfect folder. Looks right open or closed, feels right open or closed. Works like silk, feels like an ingot. The design could be on permanent display at the MOMA. Now it's milspec baby. Maybe not as fancy but at least more attainable as a semi-production piece. Bet you won't be able to meet demand for the civie version. You guys deserve it.

Okay, please let me explain the rules around here. When you make a post like that, it must be accompanied by photos. I don't care if it some kind of military secret, it's just not fair to not be able to see what all the excitement is about. :p
