Found at estate sale , I gave $2.
Cleaned, serviced, lubed, “chingers” removed from both blades. Very serviceable carbon steel with
brass inserts. Internet knowledge
indicates “most likely” made by
Camillus for Klein. ( other suspects…
Utica, and many other providers ).
I believe the second blade ( short)
has been re-shaped in its lifetime.
Most “ electricians “ appear to be 2
blade variety…. But 3 blade not uncommon. Some opinions offered
that the 3 blade was for other than electrician use. Nice patina, a good
solid tool . Not sure on age but good quality.

I've always heard that Utica made the Klein Tools and Klein and Sons knives.
I've never seen a three-blader where one blade wasn't a hawksbill.
For what that's worth.

Could have been Utica. For certain it was Utica after Camillus closed in 2007. But Camillus made similar knives and could have made them for Klein at one time or another.

I agree that the third blade on that sample looks "modified".

Here's my old 3-bladed Klein which I used in the mid 70's, and I was not its first owner.

Thanks for the commentary ….
I’m already
enjoying this tool.
Used today to remove/place
a new plug on an 80’s
Milwaukee HD SawzAll. Glad to put it
to use for its intended purpose.
EDC worthy ( even with the mod). 😎

Photo added… title changed
