I picked up this M Miguron Velona ("small" version) a few weeks ago. Thought I'd share my thoughts on it. First of all; it cost me $50 on Amazon. (Miguron site lists this exact version for $52). For that reasonable price you get 14C28N blade steel, true PVD coating, blue micarta scales with steel shadowbox liners, a titanium pocket clip and a very well finished knife overall with great flipper tab & liner lock actions. The blade is 3 1/2" long with a hair over 3" cutting edge and is 0.126" thick. Nice fuller that if you really bear down on it can be used to open the blade as another option. The spine of the blade is nicely contoured/rounded. Caged ceramic bearings. The liners and pocket clip and blade PVD color all match. Solid back spacer. Blade came very sharp, centered and with NO blade play. Nice leaf shape blade profile. The micarta is very nice. Smooth but you can still tell it's not G10 and the blue color pops! Blade snaps open with nice resistance at the start. For $50 that's a heck of a deal in today's knife world. Two thumbs up from me!

Very nice. How does the steel hold up?
I have't really cut with it enough to say one way or the other. I have a lot of EDC type knives that I rotate and most of the time the hardest use they see is to cut a cardboard box up... but in general I've found 14C28N steel to be good and easy to strop.
