hey ya'll,

just picked up a georgeous knife on eBay, by a maker have not heard of before. this damascus hunter is awesome! don't have it yet, but it is on the way and i can't wait for it. looks like a true work of art. detials and pic are below:

PATTERN WELDED DAMASCUS, DROP POINT HUNTER, HAND FORGED AND HAND MADE BY MICHAEL MILLER OF M MILLER ORIGINALS (AZ). THE BLADE IS 3 5/8 INCHES OF O-1 AND L-6, HIGH CARBON TOOL STEELS IN A BOLD, RETICULATED PATTERN. OVERALL LENGTH OF THE KNIFE IS 8 1/4 INCHES. HANDLE OF STABILIZED JUNIPER BURL SCALES, DOVE-TAILED WITH RECON TURQUOISE AND SOLID BRASS BOLSTERS. COMES WITH A HAND MADE LEATHER SHEATH.

Congratulations! It looks like a really nice piece with some real finery going on. You sound excited and I'm glad for you. :)

hey dogman... you in tampa too i see.

yeah, it came in great time, like 2 days or something. the sheath is awesome! i like the damascus pattern too. Mike calls it reticulated, looks cool!

and yes this juniper burl is awsome. i grew up around juniper trees here in FL my entire life, and thought they were completely useless... but man did M Miller prove me wrong.

sweet knife and looks good in my case!
