Is it really too big for every day carry? And if you own it any other impressions or the Mark II as well thanks

The Mark I is big for every day carry, and the Mark I is much more compact. It also has an only slightly shorter blade, so it's good compromise.

I like them all, very solid knives, ergonomic grips. I have an original CQD manual, a Mark I auto, and a Mark II manual.

Very well made , carry OK , I had a couple , just not my cup of tea .

what is the size of the handle actually does anyone know? like more than just the length like the thickness and width. Im assuming thats what makes it hard to carry right?

The Mark I auto stays in its sheath.
Thr original CQD gets clipped right front pocket but it's not my EDC.
It's not just the length and width (height) it's the thickness also. Get the Mark II.

I keep my Mark I in the car. It's way too large for me to carry. It's one of the biggest folders I've ever seen.

The Mark II is the only way to go for everyday carry.

I can only carry the Mark I IWB in public. The sheer bulkiness of it has to be felt to believe. However depending on where you are you can fit it in your front pocket, assuming no one will care if they see it.

The closed MOD Mark I is approx. 6 1/16" x 1 5/8" x a touch of 5/8".

I hope this helps.

The Mark I is... spectacular. It truly is the only folder I might think was more paperweight than edc that is a well made and meant to be used knife. Nonetheless, anything can be edc if you REALLY want it to. I know people that more or less edc a desert eagle. EDC all depends on who you are and what you value. That said, the Mark II is much more concealable, and less likely to get even knife knuts to be scared of you. But, if you need a knife that people will undoubtedly recognize as bad-a$s, that's my vote.
