M. Price style headed to the Blade Show

This is our version of a M. Price hunter. It has a 4 5/8" blade of CPM S30V, antique bark ivory handle scales and stainless pins. I know, I know, but we think that if he had had access to CPM S30V he would have used it.

Not if he forged his blades he wouldn't have (and he did). Maybe he would have switched over to stock removal.

The knife looks great. What are you making for a sheath?
 
Keith thanks for the comments. Mr. Price probably had several big old grinding wheels in that shop of his somewhere. Nearly all knifemakers do. Some just don't like to talk about them.:D The sheath, with any luck, will look very similar to the one shown below. The picture doesn't show it but the sheath will be stitched up the middle of the back and the belt loop is attached as a separate piece.
