I saw this knife the other day and someone told me it was a copy of a "real knife" but couldn't remember which one.... Any ideas?
-Thanks

Slipping my mind as well.

Can't say, but looks like something from MoD, or perhaps Kershaw.
Don't know about customs, though.

It does look rather Ken Onion (Kershaw) -ish. Particularily the Boa, but the finger cutout is more pronounced.

looks like Howard Viele, Ken Onion, Andre DeVilliers and Joel Pirella blenderised....

I don't think it is a blatant copy, but I am most reminded of Ken Onion.

It is a copy. If nothing else, it is a copy of a cheap a$$ chinese P.O.S.
I'll find a link.

blade shape = walter brend model 2
handle shape = joel pirela designs

^^not a bad design combo. quality of the product is an entirely different nightmare.

The progresivly smaller holes and the blade shape made me imediately think of Kershaw/Ken Onion. But the finger cut out looks like something off an Emerson.

I don't think the Boa is that similar. The handle is completely different, and the blades are only somewhat alike.

The handle is definitely a Pirela design, many of his folders use that handle. I think the blade is just a generic recurve drop-point.
