Fondled one today, reallllllllly was impressed. However, this time I left with only the very nice Zero Tolerance catalogue. :)

That is because I added to my custom folder collection.

But like MacArthur said, "I shall return,," Or Arnold's : I'll be Bach".

House of Blades in Fort Worth, new ZT dealer.

So.........................................what custom did you get!!:D

The ZT MUDD is well worth the price, even if it is MSRP! I absolutely love the one I have and if not for the Kershaw Tyrade arriving, the MUDD would still be in my pocket!!

I ran across a Hawk Custom M.U.D.D today...looks very much like the ZT0500 except for the orange/tan micarta scales, the ratcheting-roller-based clip, and some nice grooving on the blade where the grind curves into the tang.

A really nice knife, but $479 is more than I'm willing to part with right now. :)

Ray

Edit: actually, the ZT0500 has similar but different blade grooving...

Reholli, was it for sale by an individual or an online store? I would love to have a custom to go with my ZT model. Also, what size is the custom as compared to the ZT model?

cutter...it's online, on everybody's favorite auction site...price is Buy-it-Now, not an auction. There's no way to compare size visually...it's alone in all the pics, but the listed specs are:

Blade: S30V sand-blasted

Scales: Micarta

Blade length: 2.75 inches

Closed length: 4.0 inches

Overall length: 7.0 inches

That's smaller than the ZT0500.

Store is Northwest Blades, maintained by customerfavorites...they're also an authorized CRK (Chris Reeve Knives, not Columbia River Knife and Tool) dealer...drool...

Slap!...enough of that, this is the Kershaw forum... :)

It would be great if someone from here was able to grab it up. I sent you an e-mail through bladeforums with the link.
