Just got a long awaited M-Wave I ordered for myself from Eric over at M.D.T.

Love this tealish green G10. Best green G10 ever put on an EKI I think!

I've always liked this knife. Can't get to it now with all the work I have here I have to do but I think most of my friends know what is in store for this one. Can we say HD-M-Wave?? Just a matter of time now!;)

Cool! I've yet to see one for sale in the 'previously owned' market yet. I'm a fan of green...(and orange!)

This one just came out and is the latest batch. Number .034 on mine.

Your picture seems to make the green G-10 look a little lighter than what it is. (Or maybe not) I just received my M-Wave and the green is much darker. Almost a green/black to me.

I don't doubt that its off by a shade. I guess thats what I get for a $75 flat bed scanner.

I like this green and my wife thinks it much nicer looking than that 'pea green' on the P SARK I have. Her words not mine.

Anyway, when I get it rebuilt down the road the real color will come out in daylight with the digital pics. It won't be until I get to making a frame lock side for it in .160 thickness titanium though. I may stick one up later if we get a day with some good sun just to show it better though before I start into it.

The framelock version will be awesome. One thing we can say about the color is that it is darker than the original green colored G-10 that Emerson used to use.

I am going to try and pick one up, and possibly try get you to do some work on it if yah can :D

Buds very nice, mine is on the way as we speak.Let me know what ya think of the quality, fit&finish etc. Eric was "bang on" deal with. I'll be shopping there more often I'm sure. Cheers.

I think the fit and finish is as good as any other Emerson. The higher price on the M-Wave has to do with its limited availability more than anything else. It's a very nice production Emerson that you cannot find everyday.

These typically hold their value and appeal. Fit and finish is great. Its on par with other EKIs there. My lock isn't adequate for my own tastes but thats just me with any thinner liner lock regardless of who made it. I'm sure most others would give it high praises. Its probably one of my favorite models and its certainly the easiest and best Waving one of all of them.

It will be the first frame lock M Wave I've done though so I don't know what I'll run up against once I get it apart. I'm going to have my way with it though one way or another. :D

Good to hear all the positive comments, My last Emerson was made by Benchmade. It was so long ago I can't remember the model. I sold it during a "cleansing" phase. I love the green on this new one and it will be carried with me at work. I should have it by mid week. More to follow troops! Cheers.
