ive been trying to post these pictures for a few days now but every time i set down to post my girlfriend drags me off to bed before i can finish. i started out with a brand new bushmaster dissipator carbine, luckly there was a gunshow the next day so i got lucky and picked up a few odds and ends. i hit one long table that had "build your own uppers" you could walk down the line and pick your parts and there gunsmiths would build your ar infront of your eyes. i picked a early vietnam 20 inch barrel, vietnam hand guards for both barrels, a 3 prong flash supressor, and a dpms a2 upper reciever for the 20 inch.

i only got that upper reciever because of the lack of a colt upper with out the forawed assist. lucky enough theres another gunshow this week end, im going to see if i can finish the rest of the 20 inch with as many early vietnam era colt parts as possable. im going to ditch that telestock and go with a vietnam era unit and if im lucky ill even be able to find a stripped colt lower.

the 20 inch is a tack driver, clay pigions at 100 yards was simple as point and click.

I'd hit it with my 16 incher.

I mean, clay pigeon's aren't that small, my carbine can do that. :D

If you are looking to put together a real intense weapon you can go to this site and get a lot of parts that gal could model. hmmm...
I built an M-4 and working on a 7.62x39 version. I want the harder hitting round.
Nice pics put some more up or give up the website very nice.

not to interested in the new stuff, id love to see links to real m16 parts like the colt uppers with out the forward assist.

im going to "try" to use this in place of my trusty garand for the high power competitions this year. i have a thing about using the "real" war workhorses at high power shoots.

i dont do to bad but i never win, thats not really what its about any way. people seem to enjoy it when i show up dressed in a ww2 outfit carrying a 42 garand inside of a vintage paratroopers case. been there done that so id like to set up a vietnam era setup for this year.

a bud has an old colt sporter with no FA and a 3 prong flash hider, got it in the mid '70s, ya dont see those much anymore.

its called a colt sp1, about as close to the real deal as somebody can get, the gun show is in the morning, if i see one ill pick it up and post some pictures about the differences.

Nice stuff kabar! How much money do you have invested in all those?

its hard to tell, 70-80 thousand for just the guns, not including ammo, parts, ect..... heres a small sample, that was taken about 6 months ago and was around 1/3 of the guns at the time. it takes me weeks for there yearly cleaning and oiling and i can only fit 50 or so rifles in the room at a time.

sence those pictures were taken ive baught: ar15 dissipator, m16 upper, pu sniper mosin nagant, mossburg 590, enfield converted to .410, us property marked enfield, 2 more garands,2 m1 carbines, 2 1903a3 springfields, 3 k31s (2 had soldiers tags) one unfired with arsonal hang tag, m69 trainer, 1928 finnish capture enfield (1897 reciever, 1927 sig barrel), m44, laminated 91/30, 2 consecutive numbered yugo sks's unfired and unissused with books, m1 tommy gun, 1927 tommy gun, sweedish m38 mauser..... theres probably a few others that im forgetting lol

ive got 1600 or so just in the ar15 including spair parts and assories not pictured.

i hit the gunshow saturday, i was about to buy a 66 or so sp1 for 1450 but passed it when i seen a pair of booths full of ar15 parts. now, this is purly by accident but i baught another reciever and all the lower parts to rebuild my dissipator carbine. i also replaced the telestock on the "vietnamed" bushmaster with a new bushmaster stock and pistol grip .

THEN i decided to buy a new barrel and a2 upper for the carbine so i could swap the uppers and have the heavy barrel.

when i got home i realized "oh #%^%" ive got enough parts to build ANOTHER ar15, purly by accident. o well, i guess when the next gun show rolls around ill have to buy another lower.

as a side thaught i had the vendor locate me a sp1 upper and lower so i can finally do that slabside build ive been wanting to do.

Let's get this right. You have a girlfriend who does porno for cash and constantly wants to drag you off to bed and yet you spend your dough on rifles and your time hanging out at gun shows, the range and cleaning rifles?

No offense man, but you are sick and need professional help.

your taking it all wrong, its not like i dont join her on her nightly romps. sex comes before the guns, unless i shot corrosive ammo out of it:p .

shes just as interested in guns as i am. its a rare ocasion when im shooting or at the shows that shes not with me.
