ive been trying to post these pictures for a few days now but every time i set down to post my girlfriend drags me off to bed before i can finish. i started out with a brand new bushmaster dissipator carbine, luckly there was a gunshow the next day so i got lucky and picked up a few odds and ends. i hit one long table that had "build your own uppers" you could walk down the line and pick your parts and there gunsmiths would build your ar infront of your eyes. i picked a early vietnam 20 inch barrel, vietnam hand guards for both barrels, a 3 prong flash supressor, and a dpms a2 upper reciever for the 20 inch.
i only got that upper reciever because of the lack of a colt upper with out the forawed assist. lucky enough theres another gunshow this week end, im going to see if i can finish the rest of the 20 inch with as many early vietnam era colt parts as possable. im going to ditch that telestock and go with a vietnam era unit and if im lucky ill even be able to find a stripped colt lower.
the 20 inch is a tack driver, clay pigions at 100 yards was simple as point and click.
