M1917 Trench Knife Question

I hit the motherlode at an estate sale a few days ago, and brought home an impressive sack of historical bayonets, swords, etc., going way back in time. At the bottom of the sack was a pristine M1917 "knuckle duster" trench knife from WW1. It looks like it's in unissued condition, still packed with blade grease and an 8oz sack of desiccant to keep the moisture away.

Probably because of the knuckle weapon feature, this knife is banned on eBay. Can someone please recommend online sales forums or auctions that might fetch a good price for military collectibles as a 2nd choice to eBay?

Thinking about where these bayonets have been kind of makes my skin crawl. It's not my kind of collectible. I'll be happy to sell them all and go back to my collection of Buddha's and endless other treasures I drag home.

Thanks!

Those m1917 trench knives are often faked, you better make sure it's not just a really old reproduction made in India.

Those bayonets should not be a Macabre thing, to die in war is a brave and noble sacrifice young men have been making since the dawn of man.
War is a " necessary evil " so to speak and the lives that may have been lost at the hands of these bayonets should be celebrated and not feared.

Yes, I've noticed that. Some are quite remarkable. Thanks, and I agree with your warning.
The trench knife I picked up is obviously old, even to the smell and to the effect of 100 years on leather. It's "patina of age" is quite real, as was everything else in the house that was being emptied out after a lifetime of accumulation. The guy had eclectic taste and a colorful life, to say the least.
