Could anyone please help to name the Benchmade folders that with M2 blade? A list that as thorough as possible is appreciated, and better with lock types stated. I'm interested in the M2 steel lately and know that Benchmade makes some good folders with that steel.

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure the McHenry and Williams (710, AXIS Lock), Mini AFCK (814, Linerlock), and Stryker (910, Linerlock) come in M2 steel. Look for the "HS" in the model number.

Thanks Steven!

I tried to search "HS" in Benchmade's website, under "browse catalog", but unfortunately it returned nothing. :(
They definately needs to put on a more powerful searching engine. :D

i believe there were also a couple of limited runs that had M2, I have a 730 CFHS siting in front of me right now..

800HS - liner lock
814HS - liner lock
710HS - Axis lock
140HS - fixed blade
145HS - fixed blade
730CFHS - limited - axis lock
732HS - limited - axis lock
910HS - liner lock
835HS - limited - lock-back
705BC1CFHS - limited - axis lock

I don't know if there was an 812HS or not.
If there are any I forgot, someone will fill in the blanks.

Still in production are the 710HS and 910HS. On occasion, Benchmade will come out with limited edition models with M2. That will probably be less frequent as S30V and D2 seem to be more popular. May I recommend the 710HS?

Thanks to all!

In my location it's possible to find some of the models that still under production I think. Due to the demand/supply reason, usually the price is beyond the MSRP quite bit. Anyway it's good that I can have chance to get one some time later, with a good list you guys put together to choose from.

Yes 710HS looks sweet. :)

Passenger,

I have the 710 HS. Great knife, especially if you are already familar with the 710. The M2 takes a screaming sharp edge.

I don't think you'll unhappy with a 710.
