Are there any manufacturers that still use M2 Steel in their knives?
I know Benchmade made the 710 and Nimravus in M2, But have discontinued them.

Some custom makers use M4 and M2, but I dont know of any companies that still use it.

the BM 800 AFCK also came in M2 IIRC, i think i used to have one a few yrs ago.

but no i dont know any production stuff in M2 right now,

it is a good steel, i have a nealy pesh kebz in M2, holds an edge well but its a bear to sharpen, i dont know that its any better than D2/S30V/etc ................

Just get some CPM D-2. It's just as hard, just as sharp, more stain resistant, and holds an edge almost as well.

Not to mention it can still be found pretty easily on the Spyderco Para-Military, or you could get some for less than $70 on two Kershaw models (Composite blade Leek and JYD II).

My EDC is BM910HS Stryker from M2.

I don't know what serial production is made from that steel today.

P.S. it can rust :(
