M2 steel...

The only ones I know of are the Benchmade 710 and 910. If anyone knows of any more I would really like to know too. M2 sounds like a steel I really want to try.

The older Benchmade AFCK's had it as well. It is OK but personally I never felt a huge difference in it's cutting ability or edge retention. Others have raved about it. I do like the Large Axis AFCK in D2 alot...

If you looking for a production knife, Benchmade is your only option, but there is a wery good maker called Chase Axinn, who will make a custom M2 blade for any other folder you like.

From the Benchmade site
"M2- A very tough, tool grade high-speed steel used primarily as a cutting steel in the industrial area. It offers excellent strength and wear resistance. Due to its make up, it is highly susceptible to corrosion, so we always apply our BK1® BenchKote coating for corrosion resistance. An excellent choice for hard use environments."
