I'm wanting to try out Veff serrations , but CRKT seem to have a lock (an autolawk :p) on this .

I'm always leery about CRKT , especially folders , so I'm trying to find the "least bad" one with Veff .

Tried to DIY Veff serrate one of my old beaters today , but results were ....(sob !):thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

So , looking for recommendations . :)

Check out the Fossil. There's two sizes and different colors, you'll probably find one you like. It has a good action and performs really well for 8Cr. It was my first flipper, so I'm a little sentimental about mine. They did update it with a better clip recently, which fixed the biggest issue that other reviewers had about it.

Cool ! Thanks .

G10 on the Fossil reminds me of one my current EDC :

The igniter is a relatively cheap one with no autolawks, also have the hood fixed blade with them too!!
Initially I found the autolawks a pain but after a few reps to get the hang of it I don't mind em!

I had the M21-14SFG. If it hadn’t been stolen by a junkie relative, I would have given it away. If he had come to me and said “Henry, I need a couple of knives I can hock to buy drugs”, he could have had that one without sneaking into my house to steal it.

The Veff serrations were good for one coconut. I was able to coax them back into shape, sort of, but they were never the same.
