M21-14SF Special Forces Knife

I like the tanto version (M16-14). I just can't get into that big "Drop Point" part of the M16-21. I've handled one and it was as solid as the MOD CQD I.
I read that they are made in the U.S.

I like the design of the M21-14SF, especially the full belly blade. The only thing IO don't really care for is holed handle. I would prefer solid or synethic, but that's just my opinion. It's on my lust list:D

Mine says taiwan on the blade. Overall they're a good beater knife but nothing more. It has a crappy chisel grind that I can't stand at all, and the blade is AUS-8A. It holds an edge pretty well when cutting cardboard and soft materials, but on harder materials the edge tends to chip and roll. Overall I wouldn't pay the sticker on any of the m16's. Only reason I got one is cause I have an employee discount at a knife shop.

I have the M16-14SF and the M21-14SF. Think the action is smooth, lockup is firm and size is OK. I also did buy the 3 inch versions of each of these with the alum handles (M16-12, M16-10K, & M21-12). These are really nice size.
I did remove that AUTO Lawks mechanism on the M21-12. Which do I prefer...tough question....the M21 is prob more practical, but the M16 is awesome looking. I like the 3" versions so much I bought each of our sons a full set of them.

The SF is made in the USA, but the rest are made in Taiwan.
