Looking for BF's recommendation between the Boker SK-5 and the Ontario 8155 M3 Trench knives? Ontario's definitely got the better price, and I've always been impressed with their quality. But is there something about Boker I should take into consideration before I make a choice?

Thanks!

The SK5 is made in China....if that matters.

I'd grab the Ontario. I like the SP6 I own.

If you are talking about the Boker M3 trench knife that is a reproduction of the WW2 issue M3, it is made in China, last I checked. It is a very good repro though.

The SK5 will serve you better if it is a knife that you plan to really use.

BTW, M3 is one of my favorite knives of all time.

I have an Ontario M3. It is built like the rest of my Ontarios, and I think it would be a good user if that was your intention. Not sure why the Boker would be better, but I don't own one to compare it to.

Buy a real one. They're easy to find.
