No review per se, just a small story of FrankenMillie identified, aquired (dirt cheap), restored and ranked as new Holy Grail

Long story short, I've crossed roads with the selling of the M390 CF&Ti Military above; the knife has been quite abused (edge destroyed by regular opening of paint cans, blade scratched all over, surface rust in the pivot area) but otherwise in a pretty good condition (tip was intact, no bladeplay, only minor blemishes on the Ti side) and was dying to get a new home, which I gladly offered.

Did the same. I need to say that it took me three tries (three different M390 blades) to get one with safe lockup.

I did something similar with my Ti Militaries. I like them a lot more now, since I prefer the Military with a bit more weight.

nice one, John
lockup on mine is around the 60% mark but I have no qualms whatsoever with using it

The one I settled on with mental peace has just marginally more than full engagement of the locking tab.
