I very much want to know this as well!I wonder if this m390 model has a detent ball, unlike the HOB exclusive ones in s35vn, but like the budget models in 420HC. Anyone hear or know anything?
I hate to beat a dead horse but I have to agree on this. For some reason I've had several of my speed assist Kershaw springs break lately. I have one due any day for my Dividend right now. I've only opened it approximately four or five hundred times and it just broke. I don't know if the quality of the spring material has been downgraded or I'm just having bad luck. But it really makes me hesitate on buying anymore Kershaw assisted knives. I have a Buck Tempest that's been opened and closed several thousands of times over the past ten years that I've owned it and it has never broke a spring. I'm a little disappointed with my Speed Safes for sure.A Kershaw with SpeedSafe? I will pass. Both my ZT 0566 and Cryo II have had multiple spring failures and this is the reason I will never buy another SpeedSafe POS.
Pretty neat! Hoping for a M390 (or similar) Kershaw Dividend next.
