Same here. The steel has been a pleasure to use. I replaced the cage with a Ti flytanium one and swapped the spring and now the sucker flies open with a spydie flick! This is the first Manix 2 in my collection. Been carrying it for 2 days now, really impressed!
Nice! I swapped the G10 for Putnam grooved micarta scales. After, the plastic cage kept catching and would stick in the locked position. Drove me nuts.Same here. The steel has been a pleasure to use. Ended up upgrading to a titanium ball cage, Si3N4 ceramic bearing, and reduced rate spring...That makes a HUGE difference! So smooth and no more issues.

Tips on where to find ceramic bearings and those springs? I just got my m390 Manix and I love everything about it - besides the fact that it takes TWO hands to unstick the *#%@ lock! Since I purchased it as much for its fidget factor as for its amazing blade, I’m hoping to remedy this. Is Flytanium the only cage replacement or do folks have other options they like also? Any noticeable difference between titanium copper and brass in terms of function?Nice! I swapped the G10 for Putnam grooved micarta scales. Bearings and springs are sold by some dealers on eBay. I can't give you any advise on the ball cages. I only have experience with the titanium cage from Flytanium.Tips on where to find ceramic bearings and those springs? After market pocket clip (that isn't $100 plus) or something like that?
