One of these is coming in the mail for me from a recent trade, turns out only 200 were made. Anyone know the average price these are going for. And how do they compare to ritter griptillians? and in general does anyone think wilkins grips are worth it? maybe I should change the title of the thread to all about griptillians;)

depends on if you plan on it being an EDC knife... that being said you can go with either wilkins grips or Cuscadi which is about $50 cheaper than wilkins and many many different styles materials http://blog.cuscadi.de/?page_id=244
Thanks for the site, but its really hard to navigate and half of its in german. Any tips on ordering? Looks like some great scales especially if their half the price of wilkins grips. Anyone know the value on the m390?

Eh, ok. So I guess I could sell it and move up to a ritter griptillian.

I have a bunch of Ritter Grips and honestly, I wouldn't. The blade configuration on that Grip is not bad, and the steel is clearly better than BM's S30V in the Grips.

Edit: check this thread, first post.

just click on the order page it will open to an email form just email them that you have a mini grip (for handles all minis are the same) and ask what handles they have readily available

also at their website click on knives then benchmade and you can see pics of all their benchmades they have like 20 griptilian scale pics and like i said all about 40-50 bucks cheaper than wilkinsgrips (moore doesnt have any wilkinsgrips anyways you would have to order direct from wilkins and i was quoted 148 dollars american)

Yeah I emailed them, I think I'm going to go for the cf scales with the glow in the dark backspacer. I assumed they were half of the wilkins grips. Because on the wilkins grips website the mini griptillian grips are $100. Damn thats alot of grips

BMG Mini Gripset in Black Medium Textured G10 (wilkinsgrips from wilkins site)

Price: €90 non-EU sales

90.00 EUR = $121.721 USD (forgot to covert from euro to our crappy us dollar)

pretty sure last time i talked to luke the mini grip scales were $80 for the most expensive (carbon fiber) pretty sure they have medium textured g10, a silky aero carbon or a grooved cf micarta in stock atm they can custom make pretty much anything you want

The street price is kind of irrelevant because it was only made for GP Knives. Seems like a good deal considering the steel, but the Mini Grip feels too small for me.

So how much do you think a set of g10 or micarta scales would run me?

its only like 5-10 cheaper i think the grooved looks awesome and the carbon is the strongest basically its whether you want a smooth thin knife or a grooved easy to handle (but possibly rough on the pocket)

krien is'nt doing regrinds at this time . i believe i got the last one & he put in print that his schedule did'nt allow more regrinds at present.--dennis
