I received my Blue M390 Paramilitary 2 today...I love it! This is my 3rd Para 2 and by far my favorite. I believe this one is definitely a keeper :D

This one has been in my pocket since I got it when the pre orders were filled, it will continue to be until my orange XHP one comes next month : )
 
I just happened to run across it on BBS website. I thought they were all gone...lucky me:D I have gotten this, a CF M390 Military and a PPT all in the last week...I need more pockets! Of course I should be able to make room cause their definitely isn't any money left in them!
 
The blue PM2 is my first Spyderco, it arrived 3 days ago.

It took me all of 10 seconds to order one from BBS. I thought they were all gone. Possible the best knife design and steel combo ever!!!! I did order a extra black clip just because the shinny clip stands out too much on the pants. The blue scares me a bit. Is it really good looking in person? All my Spydercos are either black or camo.
 
My most loved Spyderco ever truly a home run. If M390 was the only steel I could ever own I would be completely happy.
 
I think the price of the M390 Para 2 and the bright blue is keeping people at bay ordering these. The more neutral colours of the 20CP (?) Model and the new green one from knife works seem to be more popular, and same composition as M390 and the new green one is cheaper made them fly of the shelf.

Probably high price was much more issue than blue color. I would rather have blue than gray. Still none of them would beat Lil temp green in my book.

Come on Chuck. 4140 cannot be any harder than mid thirties, also it rust easy. :):D
I do not know why people like guns: you have to buy bullets to use a gun. And you cannot sharpen them :D:D:D:D:D
 
Put me down as a fan of this knife to. Can't believe how well it holds an edge. Gave my S30v model to my son in law for his birthday after carrying this for a while. It was just not going to bump the blue wonder from my pocket.
 
I don't like the blue but I know it's a darn good knife. I'm trying to figure out if the M390 is "technically" worth the premium as a BM 710 in M390 is about $30 cheaper and the mini grips when they came out were an awesome bargain. No they aren't Spydercos but BMs are not generally cheap either. I am waiting for the CS orange P2 and at $117 it seems a heckuva value.
 
The Green para would have been the better deal at $140 since the steels are very similar. With that being said there's a blue pm2 in my pocket right now.
 
It would be interested to know if people or should I say what people here buy these sprint run Para 2's for user's or safe queens! Someone should start a poll!

Also, some I know buy the M390 and change the handles to the standard black ones cause they dont like the blue. :)

I plan on EDC mine. I also thought about swapping the G10 if I thought the blue was too bright. The more I keep looking at the pics, the more the blue looks expensive looking and gives the knife character. I was just initially afraid of the color because its out of my safety colors of black and brown I always buy. I thought it might attract attention poking out of my pocket?? Maybe I am over thinking it.
 
I EDC my blue PM2 and plan to EDC the brown, orange, and green ones when I get them too! What good is it to have these bad a$$ steels and not use them?!? It blows my mind when ppl dont!
 
I agree. Especially with a steel like M390. Kinda like owning a Porsche 911 and never taking it out of 1st gear.

I do carry my blue and grey para and they get used too. First thing I did was to put my own edge on them.
