I have a few Spyderco knives but I have to say the M390 Blue Saber PM2 I received is by far the smoothest out of the box. The fit and finish is perfect. I am picky as hell about my knives and I couldn't find a single thing wrong with it. I own many high $$ customs and this knife is a steal at under $200.00 I was worried about the shade of blue, but after seeing it in person, the blue is stunning. Looks very professional and not cartoonish at all.

The color has different shades of blue in different light. It will look dark blue to electric blue pending on the light. Now that I see it with the silver hardware, I think the knife is beautiful looking. I am so glad i got out of my rut of only buying black and earth tone knives. Here are a few beauty pics. I will add more later.

The knife is so smooth I swear it feels like a IKBS system in it. Lock up is rock solid with no blade play in any direction. I can't stop flipping it.

The knife has a perfect symmetrical grind and is one of, if not THE sharpest knife I have ever got out of the box.

This knife just ozzes class and the M390 steel completes the package. I am looking to see what this steel can do. I don't know if it's because its a sprint run but I can really tell extra attention was put into this knife. That says something because all my Spyderco knives were perfect out of the box.

Awesome pics, makes me drool. Love the blaster too. M390 is a fantastic steel in my experience.

Awesome photographs, buddy.....thanks for taking the time to share them. I'll have to agree about the out of the box sharpness of the M390 Para 2. I have never received a Spyderco as sharp as this knife.

I'm kind of perplexed though......my M390 Military didn't come as sharp as my Para 2. I'm a bit disappointed with the Military because of this reason. Must have been a Monday when my Military was sharpened!!!

Great looking knife, great pictures too. I've only read great things about m390; make sure to tell us how it fares.

I think there may be some of these left. I can't recomend picking one up now while you can.

I finally broke down and just submitted my order for this one. I love the PM2, I love M390. I wasn't crazy about the blue but it's growing on me. I was particularly not excited about the vendors policies, ie charging relatively high compared to similar sprints, their "once it leaves our hands good luck to you" policy which forces the buyer to pay for insurance, etc.

But, as the comment was made earlier, what matters is years from now I'll still have a sweet knife. Really looking forward to this one!

Have you thought about trying that black clip on the M390? That black on blue might look awesome.

Yep, I ordered the black clip when I ordered my Blue Para2. I'm not a fan of the shiny silver clip, and I think the black will help tone down the blue some. I'll post a pic when I get mine.

Looking forward to seeing it! I have the green CTS-204P coming, I am thinking about a Ti low rider clip for that.

I think I like my M390 version as much as the S90V one. It has really impressed me with its edge retention cutting some fairly abrasive stuff.

My blue G10 looks pretty bad compared to the smurf color it was when it left the factory. The blue shows dirt/grease that gets down in the weave more than any other color I've used.

I purchased a extra black clip and was gonna put it on but fell in love with the original color scheme of the knife. The silver clip is more flashy. This entire knife is looks like a jewel to me. After owning it for a while I still think its one of the most beautiful knives.
