M390 sr-1???

LionSteel FB shows a picture of a M390 SR-1,
are they changing from Sleipner to M390 now?
And will you buy one for the M390 steel?
I for one will be considering it.

It's my SR-1. It's an experimental one. Another one with titanium handle was tested.

When m390 will be adopted form Lionsteel will have a specific heat treating for high cutting ability.

I think those M390 SR-1 are from 2009-2010.

Since M390 is very stainless to heat treat it for cutting ability (wear resistance) is perfect!

Imagine the upcoming LionSteel solid/integral/monoblock frame titanium IKBS flipper with M390. World's first production integral frame with titanium, IKBS and M390!

I hope this comes to fruition ... while I like both D2 and Sleipner ... I love M390. It is one of my favorite blade materials.

If/when they switch to M390 steel, I will have no choice but to buy my first LionSteel Ti, one-piece handle folder.
