  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

M390

Dang. i trust guys knives. I found a knife i like at 58rc and thought it was to low. I was going to base it off of guys. I figured 60 was a better rc.

Really depends on the steel type vs heat treat process. I am sure when M390 was selected it was the best option for the time. The RC selected would have stood up to S!K testing AND I will add, has stood up fine in Survivalist testing. 3V and 20CV are at their current heat treats are the go. The best analogy I can give is that both old and new steels are like muscle cars, just different generations with their own attributes.
