What an awesome knife. Mine is almost perfectly centered, and it has NO bladeplay whatsoever. The action is not as smooth as I expected, but I'm sure it will become smoother with use (those tang grind lines will wear out on the ball detent path). The balance is awesome; right at the index finger on normal grip. Lock up right on at 50%. Weight of mine is 5.0 oz (144 gr). Can you spell S*H*A*R*P?!? This thing is going right besides my BG-42 Regular Sebenza for EDC rotation...perfect size for office carry :p

A big THANK YOU to Spyderco and the crew at Knifeworks; you guys are AWESOME :thumbup:

I know...TTIWWP (!). Here they are:

That's pretty nice! I almost preordered one and then didn't do it. I am carrying my Ti Mi today.

She's a beaut alright! Mine came in yesterday and is going out the door tomorrow. I thought the general awesome-ness of this knife would overcome the fact that Militaries (Militarys?) are simply too long in the handle for my liking. It didn't. The two sprint run Paras are helping ease the unavoidable seller's remorse with this one. Looks great in your hand, though, P-Yves! Enjoy it! Dang, I thought I was okay with the sale, but every time I see a pic of it I almost start weeping.

Hey Jason! I really liked the Military myself (had a CF BG-42 in the past), but wasn't a fan of the lock. Now, OTOH, this is my favorite lock, I'm a huge fan of carbon steel (so imagine...CPM M4!), and it's a Military! Perfect match for me. I'll give you that the Para sprint runs (both of 'em) will be sweet! Thanks for dropping by

No, but the retention is very good on this knife. I'd be surprised someone could flick this one open.

That's good to hear. I forgot to ask KW to tighten mine up before shipping, customs here (N.Z) can be picky about what gets interpreted as a "gravity" knife".

ARRGGG...Mine is in the hands of Canada Customs

2010/10/20 02:39 VANCOUVER International item arrived in Canada and will be reviewed by Customs

Once i get some paypal business settled i can get this paid for and there will be another one landing in Canada :D

Have you seen any Millies (of any kind) that don't have two washers? Just curious, not picking a fight. :)

The first CF S30V millie didn't have any (mine didn't)

Well, took the Military for a little woods bumming walk today. I'm glad to report the thing cuts, and cuts well! Cut some green branches and made 2 fuzzsticks. Nothing too serious but wanted to give the knife a little workout. The blade still shaves after this so I'm liking the knife even more  The knife locked like a vault; I didn't feel any blade movement...basically felt like having a fixed blade  It was raining so the blade got pretty wet. No rust issue...not even the beginning of a patina.

Made some cowboy coffee (he he):
