  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

18.25 inches and 29.3 ounces. Same as other except the buttcap is done better on this one. Good solid tough knife. Good looking saatisal handle. Typical scabbard and frog by village sarki.

Take this winner home for $145.

Call or email.

I never thought I'd see the day Tsimi said that he didn't need any more M43s. Maybe now I'll get one.:p
Must be those pain meds. Vicoden can do it to ya! Sleep all day sleep all night. :barf:

I'll let him have the next one.
That and giving me a hard time may be the fastest things to make him fell ( oops I mean feel) better. :barf:

Hope he gets better soon, this philanthropy makes me itch. Evil Genius rule #6: Itching is bad.

Oh boy. Of all the HI khuks, plain and fancy, that I've seen while hanging out in this forum, that must be the cutest, bar none. That curve in the blade, carried right through into the handle; absolutely stunning.

If only it had been three inches longer and six ounces heavier; perfection!

Tom -
That knife is made from a model sent by Terry Sisco, of Sarki Shop fame, from an old M43 in his possession. Changing the specs on it would give Uncle chills :D As is, it is a fearsome blade, and one you would well appreciate. Jim went as far overboard when he got one of the first ones as Yvsa did over the first Chitlangi to come out of BirGorkha. Mine is one of the stars on the wall.

You know those occasions when you look at something and just instinctively know that it's absolutely, bang-on *right*... That's the shape a khuk ought to be. Those curves... It's the Marilyn Munroe of edged tools.

Tom has right! What a shape! and the feel of my little darling is soo perfect!

The Hanshee, to me, is the biggest "grabber" amongst all the blade styles, and the M43 is my vision of a more modern Hanshee. You can't really appreciate this knife until you've held it, and the feeling is almost impossible to describe. There is something a ittle atavistic about all Khuks, but this one has more of it - lots more. It has a "readiness", in hand, to take limbs, trunks (trees, or otherwise) and not quit until there is nothing left to take. It is a very eager, aggressive blade.

Atavistic ...atavistic? 'Ya know, it's folks like you that make functioning illiterates like me keep a d@#n dictionary next to the computer :D

It's good for you :) Now you can pull the same stunt on somebody else!! Providing you really looked it up and and don't look like an "illiterate":D. What are friends for if they don't help you dump on somebody else? ;)
