Hello Every one,

I have received my M43 and my Panuti Farmer Blade. First things first, WOW, these things are THICK! lol. Especially the M43 Khukri, the Panuti is actually smaller then i imagined from the picture, no less disappointing though, it looks mean and ready to cleave limbs lol, and part of the blade was extremely sharp :). I put them to work right away in the back yard chopped down a few small bushes, pried off some palm tree bark, chopped into an old busted up shed, and for the final test i chopped through a 7-9" wide log, the M43 performed excellently, there is a little bit of a learning curve with the way the blade is but once i found that sweet spot it was just clawing away the wood, though i will say it started a blister right below my pinky, nothing too serious and very happy with the strength and performance of the M43. i did all the little stuff with the Panuti, but my bro chopped through the log, well half of it lol he got tired, it was enough for me to be satisfied with its performance, which was also excellent, that thing is a straight chopper, it chops very nice. I have pictures and will post them, as soon as i figure out how to post them on your forums, you guys don't have the simple attach folder and i don't know how to get the url of my pics so any help would be great. Overall, very satisfied with them, next is learning to clean and sharpen them, and testing them out in real conditions got a trip at the end of the month, can't wait to use these babies. Thanks for a such a great product Himalayan Imports, Thank you.

Glad to hear you like that M-43. Soon you'll have that rolling snap down.

When using my M-43 to clear a downed treee from accross a jeep trail a friend commented on the size of the chips I was throwing. These blades chop better than even larger axes.

Tape the pinky with medical tape before your next session, Relax your grip except the first two fingers till you rotate the blade into the chop at the very last of the chopping stroke. That will help prevent blistering as well.

picture posting:

copy the location link to the clipboard, pic needs to be hosted on the internet somewhere like photobucket.

click the little yellow square in the symbol line of the message editor that has the mountains in the bottom of the square & the teeny sun in the upper right quadrant.

paste the link into the resulting window. if you DO use photobucket to store your photo online, just copy the 'IMG Code' below each picture & paste that.

should wind up looking like:
